NFSA posted a photo of the spring that was made today on the website.

Is Madison still closed?
First to go, last to blow...
Not to mention the river is rising again, due to the rain this past weekend.
Russell took the post right out of my mouth....
NFSA divers are watching the river and staying in contact with the park manager frequently. When it looks promising we will go look.
I am headed to Peacock today to go look again...fingers are crossed...
Any word on status
At the rate the river is dropping, the current will be ripping. It also shouldn't take long for it to clear out.
I talked with the park manager today and he said the basin is still brown. The USGS station at Pinetta (North of Madison) left the action stage level around last Tuesday, and now Madison river level is dropping. Presently conditions aren't good enough for diving, but lets give it a few days. Also,we want to be wary of the alert that has posted.

Our gage shows 4 inches of rain last night; we are about 10 miles NW of Live Oak.
