I would like to take the time to THANK everyone involved in the event for Edd tonight. My family had a great time. The food was excellent, the ppl were nice and very well put together. I look forward to many more gatherings and again, thanks for a great time. To everyone who worked so hard, my hats off to you for a job WELL done...

I had a great time at the event. Even got a tad teary-eyed during the speeches. Was great to see Edd, Stacy, Kevin, and all my cave friends.

I had a great time, and got to meet people I had only known online. I also got to see people I hadn't seen recently.
Thanks to the ASA guys for putting this well deserved tribute to Edd together. I was glad to be a part of this historical event.

We need to thank some people who worked very hard behind the scenes on this. Most don't know Mandy, but Mandy Hammonds worked very hard on this and only knows about ten of us so say hi to Mandy if you visit Cave Connections. David Jones and his wife Monica were there around noon helping set up as well as Stu. Leslie Rankin and Stacy Martin also worked very hard on this so a big thanks to all of these. It was a great night and lots if fun.

Incredibly smooth and perfectly planned. The process, execution, and attendance was the a tribute to the love and admiration Edd commands.

It was a wonderful event for an awesome guy. Great job to everyone who was involved in organizing and setting everything up. I enjoyed meeting everyone.
I want to thank everyone who came out. I know many drove a long way to be there. It was a great showing for a well deserved award. Many surprises pulled off that night. I met a few new friends and found out writing an emotional speech with small font makes for a hard reading. No matter how many times I read through those words I could not get past the emotion. Edd is a great asset to cave diving and every person who knows him. I just don't think ASA could have picked a better person to name its first award after. Right place, right time. Of course that's how Edd rolls with it. Thanks again to everyone who came out I enjoyed meeting those I met and wish I could have had more time to mingle but dishes called my name.

If you weren't there, you missed the look on Edd's face when he entered the room. Stacy had told him they were attending a retirement party for a local official. When Edd walked into the room, it looked like a movie opening with all the flashes going off. He was totally surprised :-D
I had a great night also, Thank You to ASA, CA crew and Stacy for a great event. Edd has done a lot of great thing for the cave community in addition to the ultimate in saving four lives. Thank You for all you do Edd
That was a ton of fun, and Stacy, Steve, Kevin, Colin, Leslie, Mark from Madisons, and a ton of people I can't name did a great job. I'm glad I could make it and thanks to Steve, Colin, Kevin, Dan, etc. for a great dive at Wakulla!
