UHP Helium Gas Storage

I have 4 bottles for sale. Manufacture stamp date is "11/01 +". They have been in my garage since I purchased them new around the 2002 time-frame and are in excellent condition. All have caps even though they are not shown in the photo. Three of the four contain positive pressure only, but the fourth I tested last night and it read about 1500 psi.

$225 / each bottle with no gas, add $50 for hydrostatic test if you want
$300 / bottle with 1500 psi

Are these 300 or 250 cubic feet?

Do they come with bands and manifold? I got plans.

I assumed they were 300cf, but they could be 250. If you can tell me what to look for on the stamp, I will examine them and let you know.

Mark has these three tanks up for sale again.

Yes, $250 for the three bottles and that includes the Helium that is currently in them! Great price

Dave, It sure sounds like you are saying $250 for the three bottles and not $250 for each of the three bottles. If it's $250 for all three, I'll but them, and figure out what to do with them later. :)

I think someone beat you to them but hope to be able to update you soon.

Pilot of a vintage Seaplane (think it was a Goose) with US Navy markings had a couple of external fuel tanks that were dummy'ed up to look like bombs under his wings.

I can't remember who the cave diver was who put the "Radioactive" sticker on his scooter - someone in law enforcement failed to see the humor.

I got them today, I was expecting due to the price, 200 CF bottles, but these are the bigger, longer and way heavier 300 CF bottles. Pictures are for the naysayers that said it could be done, never doubt the mighty Maule :)

Years ago one of our ER staff put a "BIOHAZARD" sticker on somebody else's locker. The Housekeeping, Environmental Services, and Infection Control departments were not at all amused. The bureaucratic overreaction was amazing to behold. If cooler heads had not prevailed, we would have had a team of technicians in tyvek bunny suits and respirators sanitizing the whole locker room. The over reaction and zero tolerance thing has gotten way out of hand. Years ago when my wife worked at Richmond Hill elementary a kindergarden kid was expelled from school because he brought his GI Joe and it's toy gun to school, and of course the school had a zero tolerance for weapons.

Zero tolerance policies are the worst thing to happen to institutions. If we Let Common sense prevail we could avoid many unfortunate situations coused by zero tolerance policies.

I don't know about that. I have zero tolerance for stupid and it has been working very well for me. I have no friends unless they want something from me, I fire every person the boss hires but I can't fire him (I have tried), and I dive solo most of the time unless I need someone to be mobile bailout for me.

Story in news a while back about deaf/mute child having hand-sign conversation, made handsign for gun (finger and thumb), was observed by non-deaf staff, reported and expelled for making "threating gesture".

Forgot about that one. Another case. I think I also heard about a child taking a bite out of a slice of bread, and being expelled because the bread was in the shape of a gun.

Glad it all worked out! I might have stopped by to help at the MI airport (just down the street from my house ) but we were busy laying line which ended up connecting two caves.

OK, well being that you connected two caves, your excused. Actually it went well, it was easy loading them with two people, what was a bear was unloading them and getting them into my truck by myself.
