It's practiced fairly often on the west coast. There is even a book on diving out of a kayak. I guess it's not so bad once you get the ingress/egress technique down.Quote:

I have a kayak I'm willing to sell, its an Old Town Otter 9.5' that I've added a bungee kit too and would include a set of footpegs(sans mounting hardware), for $100. Can deliver to cave country :P I bought a bigger kayak more suited to overnight trips so don't need this one anymore.
I have 2 (two) Sit on top Scrambler XT Ocean Kayaks with all the straps, seats, PFD's, paddles, and each has two hatches (to stow gear inside). The whole kit and caboodle for $2000 delivered in cave country. If you are serious I can e-mail detailed pictures.
