Dove Manatee on Sunday (17th), catfish hole to Sue's sink. The flow was swift indeed. (actually the strongest flow I've yet experienced.) I suspect exiting the main spring may be uncontrollable. Vis wasn't bad, some particulate matter.
We were there Saturday. Catfish on up past Sue about 500 feet then back down through the traverse to the main spring. Flow was stronger thean usual. Vis was great, probably 30 or 40 ft.

I am going there on Sunday and was also wanting to know what the vis was. This will be my 1st time there so just curious as to what to exspect
last weekend was heavy flow. 1 foot forward one f0ot back kind of swim
Ok cool so kick your Ar#e off to hover in one spot huh?
On the way back out... Who ever is picking up the Primary Reel will need to stay horizontal with fin tips slightly down or you will get tumbled. If you have never been tumbled while running or retrieving line you’re in for a ride. :-D
That would be an E-ride. Well so it seems after it's over. Anyone else out there 'know' what an e-ride is?Quote:

but did anyone happen to notice what the swimming areas are like?
I am diving at Manatee tomorrow, and was wondering whether or not to bring the family along.
TIA
Having grown up near Disneyland in California, I vaguely remember that system. I don't remember when they stopped using it and just went to a flat entrance fee, but I'd guess early 80's?Quote:

Eventually Disney got smart and starting charging one flat, exhorbitant fee
to enter the park and take in the sights and rides.
To say what level a ride/event is - is a commentary on the quality/fun associated with it. :-)
I remember the ride tickets, I was young, 41 now, but i remember thinking how stupid it was. I had been to Astroworld by then and it was flat rate there!
Go ahead and bring the family lots of people were in the swim area last weekend.Quote:
