since the rains? is it still good or have they blown out?
I can take a bike down there today to take a look.
Clearcut might look gross on the surface but be clear underneath. The downstream sinks (promise, cream, etc) are probably better to look at.
My State Park pass died, so I'm not gonna ride out there after all.
I'll drive out there and take a look at Cheryl and Split Sinks... They'll be a good indication. Emerald will be the same as ClearCut as far as the surface not really telling the whole story.
Probably not, my FL state park pass is expired, so Upper River is a no go. I still don't have the spaceship house guy's number to go check out Innisfreeish.
Cheryl and Split Sinks are still clear, I would consider that a good indicator for Emerald and atleast Clearcut side of the downstream split.
I expected tannic water, honestly, but its emerald blue green, whipe away the duckweed from Cheryl and you see the ledge and the breakdown below(along with fallen leaves, limbs, ect).
looks like I might be in town for the extreme hamaknockers challenge this weekend
We might just see ya there!
I won't be diving down there this weekend, but there will be food at my house Sunday afternoon for a little get together :D
heard emerald is still beautiful in the basin today
Upstream is still clear, but downstream is awful in both directions. I imagine some of that dark water (3-5ft vis) is going to make its way down to Clearcut in a couple days if it hasn't already.
