The new look is not that pleasing to the eye. My 2 cents.... YMMV.
Additionally I try to go to the "home" page and it gives me a silly msg saying I do not have enough privileges to go there... what gives?

As mentioned in the process of updating it.
As far as the look and feel, that's the new default vbulletin look. TJ may have to locate a new template for it.
I agree it looks bad.
Right now, I'm just getting it working, not making it look pretty-

I find it ugly and difficult to use. I enjoyed the old way. It was easy to use and colorful. I don't use another forum because it is difficult to find stuff. Why the change?

We are changing the frames a bit, and most of the icons back to something cave related, ie: arrows... but the colors will be the same as in this example...
