Don't get me wrong, if anyone deserves an Award it's Kelly. But what is this Edd Sorenson award for? I understand the AUS is fairly new, that they set up the award based on Edd's recovery of 4 divers from JB in one year (all 4 alive), so naturally I thought it must be an award for those in the recovery/rescue business. Did Kelly rescue people I don't know about? Or is the award just whoever the AUS decides upon based on whatever criteria they decide? I'd like to congratulate Kelly, and guess I can, but I'd like to know what he did specifically to be so honored. I'm sure he deserves it; but why?
