My buddy and I were at the steps at Little Devil's and saw a 50 lb lift bag shoot to the surface. Looked liked a berthing whale.
It got us thinking about the crazy stuff you you see while diving at Ginnie.
Later on we saw a guy swimming in doubles from the steps to the eye holding his crotch strap.
What have you seen?

My buddy and I witnessed an couple having"relations" on the middle of the run. This said couple should never ever ever be allowed to be undressed at any time or any place....

2 guys finding my buddy's wallet in the bathroom and giving it back to him after our dive with hundreds of dollars still in it...that earned them $20 in beer money.

A vibrator was dropped in the Eye while we were on Deco. (well , not exactly dropped per so but )
When I went to grab it , a female hand grabbed it right out of my hand. ( lol )

Jean, was it running when you grabbed it?? ;-) I once had some Canadian friends diving with me for a week a few years back. They had been together for 20 years but had only just recently gotten married. We did our first shakedown dive on Saturday with a run up the main line at Ginnie to the Henkle. After the dive, it was noticed by his wife that the wedding ring was missing from his finger. Needless to say there was some tension after the dive. Continue on a few days and a few dives later, we are doing another dive at Ginnie up in Mainland. On the way out using the eye to exit we are at the 50' sand room doing a minute or two of deco. I start fanning the sand looking for the sometime lost arrow or dog snap. What shows up shiny under my light? A big gold wedding band!!!! I turned aside and looked inside and sure enough it was my Canadian buddies lost ring. I'm not sure if I saved their marriage or what, but they were two happy people.....

Not sure if this counts, But I was in the bone room on the return from a circuit up hill 400 tunnel, when I had to stop... I could clearly hear earthmoving equipment... the sounds of deisel engines and reversing beepers... I was ON CCR with a lot of helium in the mix, so no I wasn't narked... strange... is there a mine under the cave?
According to my map, the bone room is just under the bank of the Sante Fe river near one of the steps where the tubes enter the river. Ginnie Park Maint. could have been doing some road maintenance in the area.Quote:

Well the funniest thing I ever saw was actually performed by me, it was early in my cave class and I wasn't thinking and dropped my stage bottle next to the steps well... I forgot to make sure the valve was off and it started purging. So I immediately took off my undergarments and is all that was left was my boxers. Well it was my only pair so I didn't want them wet so I quickly took them off. So I jumped in ginnie naked to turn off my stage bottle. That was the last time I ever out a stage in the water with the valve on.

A friend came out of the restroom and was met by a local skank who told him, "I'm not looking for Mr. Right; I'm just looking for Mr. Right Now."
Close behind was the drunk chick in a bikini who mooched a hot dog from BobK during a CDF Social, and then promptly dropped the dog out of the bun onto the concrete. She picked it up, brushed about half of the dirt off, and put it back into the bun and started eating it. Bob offered her another one, but she gave the unforgettable line, "God made dirt, so dirt don't hurt."
