Agreed, that's why I was trying to point out that while all should be personally verified, they are there for when for whatever reason you haven't verified them or may be temporarily dis-orientated, I won't say lost, I've never been lost, I've always known where I wasn't :)

Because if you put them there then the distance to the exit wouldn't be the same in both directions. :roll:
