Wow, had a blast at the workshop today. I attended Cave Critters with Kelly Jessop, walked the interpretive trail with MIke Stine, and attended the cave survey clinic with Bob Schulte. They all did a fantastic job. I wish I could have attended some other sessions.
DR donated a Nomad JT as a door prize and once again, someone else won my prize:) At the risk of leaving someone out, thanks to Jim Wyatt's new shop, DO, Amigos, CE, NSSCDS, NACD, and EE for their door prizes, publications, etc. If I left someone out, please add to my list.
Jim, Kelly, Marc, and Marissa, thank you for your work. I think you outdid yourselves and exceeded my expectations.
Finally, it was great to see some old friends and meet some new ones. I am guessing 40 attendees were there.
And for Rob, Jen, Cathy, and Ron - both deco cookies went to Meg:)

Sounded like a good time, wish I could have made it :/

This was an excellent workshop organization.
I attended the critters session with Kelly and got so much good information about the living organisms in caves, how unexplored these are and what we can as cave divers do to help gather information.
The interpretive trail walk with professor Stine was a blast! He gave a wealth of information about the trees and vegetation on the trail.
Finally a small suggestion: maybe evaluation forms could be given to get more ideas on what attendants like or not. Not necessary but from my experience in other events this gives good feedback on what people liked and what ideas they have.
The only thing I did not like is the limited number of attendants in sessions, but I fully understand the necessity to do this to have a beneficial session so that everyone can see the screen, listen to the presenter etc. Maybe parallel sessions could solve this but I do not know how feasible this is.
Anyway thank you Kelly and all the volunteers, this was a great event.

The topics and presentations were interesting and well worth the trip. Also, the outdoors atmosphere made it easy to meet people.

We are very interested in hearing from people on what subjects they would like to hear if we do it next year.

Tina and I had a great time! Thanks to everyone involved in setting up and running the workshop.
For next year ... being new to the area, I'd like to see a presentation on the diveable caves in the area, organized into groups of those suitable for beginner/backmount, a group of the more advanced caves, and so on.

Jen and I had a great time! The turnout was impressive! It's aways great to see old friends and meet new ones!
Sandy, is Meg your nickname for your mouth? ;)

Looks like my cover has been blown. If you compare me to Meg, you would think she never had a chance to eat cookies with me around:)

Thanks!
It was a pleasure meeting everyone, and seeing some familiar friends! Glad to hear everyone enjoyed it, I know I did! :) -Marissa
