without opening a huge fight, what unit did you choose??
Haha! That's funny.
I chose the revo. Not for any specific reason, but an opportunity presented itself. So I took it. But I do like the simplicity of it. As far as I can tell, albeit prior to arriving at class, it seems like if I do A. B & C. I should live. I like that. It's like cave diving. If I do A. B. C. D. & E. I should live. Seems good.
:clapper
Good choice!!

I'll let you know an hour before I order.
I don't know - it's hard to type with two broken hands...Quote:

Well, honestly things have changed alot this decade. In the first ten years of our marriage, I was the only one that worked. We had alot of disposable income, and if either of us wanted or needed anything, we simply bought it. Obviously with the change in the economy that resulted in both of my primary sources of income gone, and the fact that I took a 80% reduction in pay things have changed. I now work 3 jobs to make 20% of what I used to make.
But it will be that line that I use in my defense. For the last 3 or 4 months I have worked at least 100+ hours per week. Two weeks ago I worked 132 hours. Yesterday was my first day off in more than 4 months and that was only because I had a migraine I couldn't beat. Every penny I get from teaching was saved towards purchasing a rebreather. I deserve a rebreather. And, if I don't get a rebreather soon, I will have forgotten everything I learned in class. Do you really want me forgetting valuable steps in setting up my rebreather?
Anyway, that's the sales pitch. Her response will be: We simply can't afford it. You'll have to wait a little while longer. FINE PETE! Go buy your rebreather, but I want 7 Grand for a toy too.
You will learn during your rebreather base course that anticipation is the key of the solution.
That's why I never got married
