Not a problem to come. The signing up for events like surveying etc was to get a head count,but you are more than welcome to come to any of them. I thing the real limit will be doubles experience.

Only a few days away now! I'm looking forward to seeing those of you I know and meeting those of you I don't.

This will be our first trip to WSPSSP. Are the directions given by MapQuest and/or Google Maps good enough?

A) Go towards the light... the flashing light that is.
There's only one, so you can't miss it.
B) If the gas station says Luraville, then turn away from the gas station ELSE GOTO A

C) If you see Dive Outpost, you're on the right track... ELSE GOTO A

D) Don't stop and shoot the deer in the cage on your left

My GPS sends me to the back (wrong) side of the park.

From Live Oak, take SR 51 South approximately 17 miles to Luraville. Turn left on 180th Street, go approximately 2 miles. Park entrance is on your right.

From Mayo, take SR 51 North approximately 7 miles to Luraville. Turn right on 180th Street and go approximately 2 miles. Park entrance is on the right.

Be sure to stop at the Luraville store for a slaw dog!

Great directions, and highly accurate!

After the deer cage, but before the WSPSSP sign, look for the gopher tortoise burrows on the right.

Well, Cathy has a cage with animals, too, but it's on the right...
