The cart is an excellent piece of work and I am in no way dissing it but if anyone wanted to have their own cart Lowes has a very similar garden cart rated for 1000 pound load (I've tested mine with 300 pound load and it worked well but I wouldn't want to pull much more than that very far). It normally sells for $108 but is frequently on sale for $88 or $98.

I believe the one before was one of those, from Lowes or Home Depot, and fell apart. Didin't stand up to the ware and tear of the trail.

I have paced the trail beginning at the first wood plank you step across after the parking lot to the last step you make at the benches before passing out. I have done this 6 times (3 separate trips) and my last one yesterday was pretty consistent with the last 2 trips (4 walks): ~1450' / 5280' = 0.27 miles
My gait is 40 steps per 100' on varying terrain, 44 through brush (where I have to occasionally lift my knees higher to clear obstacles), and 38 on sidewalks/roads with no hills. If I have the presence of mind, I will endeavor to bring a measuring wheel for the next jaunt I make it out there.
***Of course, it matters not in the slightest what your gait is...the distance will be unchanged, but the speed at which you arrive at the end and the amount of energy used can be quite different. Pulling a 300 pound cart vs sprinting unencumbered with just running shoes and a smile gives wildly varying times, but same distance.
