It's also not a bad idea to draw a "stick map" of where you want to go, including jumps you have to go past, on wet notes. I've looked at notes underwater before - really useful!!

I have probably done 75 cave dives at Ginnie.....and it never ceases to amaze me how many things I think I so clearly remember about a tunnel are WRONG!
So, do the work, consult the map, and plan out your dive. I always like to review the map after the dive, to help me "remember" the what I passed and where I was. It is really helpful, as was previously mentioned, to go with someone who knows the system.
If you live in the area, buy an annual pass. That will give you access to the caves day and night.
