Yuk-! Ok, I'm staying away from Minnesota- :smt022 Nothing up there anyhow except big, bad 'Deer Flys' that will eat you alive-!
J
Yep, slow cook it keeping it moist, or cook it very fast. Possum and Raccoon are far tougher to make palatable, they're tough, greasy and have a strange aftertaste.Quote:

With the right spices, coon can be turned into a real delicacy 8) If you really want to eat some possum, pen raise one so you can control what they eat; it will still tend to be a bit greasy, but it will taste somewhat better.Quote:

See that Jack, and you better get away from him. Watch out for the giant crocodile and the hungry beaver! I almost forgot, have a nice day.

No.....its: "Giant Beaver & Hungry Gator" here in Florida, Matthew-!
& I'm sorry, I hadn't intended to dis-respect your 'Bath Tub' {Lake Superior} but then the notorius Minnesota Deer Flys are bad up there......you'll have to admit that-! BTW, how do you cook 'wild kills' such as Duck & Coon up in your neighborhood-?
