Either the OMS V-136 or the discontinued Scubapro 232bar valve. You see the SPs on eBay from time to time. The OMS has a projection opposite the knob which makes the tank easier to carry, but it doesn't poke out so far as to make it a hazard.

Good Morning Ary,

I'm looking at the Aqua Lung regs as they seem to make a smaller than average DIN valve, plus I'm using three of their regulators now, & perform well for me. I like to stick with one brand that seems to do what I need them to. Breath easy, slim profiles, & fairly easy to maintain. As far as tanks go, there are pros & cons on both steel vs aluminum. Forrest has a lot of input on this. Maybe he can suggest what would serve us best.

when they did the system failure probablility "thing" for wakulla springs, they calculated that as a 0% probablillity because its so rare, and can be totally avoided if changed regulaly.

black spray paint works great on 40s, but doesnt stick much to chrome regs- use rubber straps to keep your SPG from banging in the quiet woods.

A Golf club wood cover works EXCELLENT at deadening the clanks of reels and primaries...

One easy way to keep your pieces and parts from banging around is to just get a shirt or small blanket and roll them into it with material separating them to make a burrito. Then just slide that into your pack.
