Actually, I believe it is called the horseshoe, not the wishbone. I thought we straightened you out on that already :lol: The line on the right that you referred to, is it towards the end of the first breakdown, just before you go up?

Cameras (still, or movie) make for interesting Diver trim...

Yesterday, Tom, Ary and I dove the Bowl and Cavern at Ginnie; I had a COMPLETELY new gear kit...finally ridding myself of pseudo Rec/Tech gear, it was my first hop(s) with a backplate/harness/cell/steelie 95/H-valve/cannister light et al....given that I had THAT much new gear, I passed the C-5050 to Ary and Tom...

I suspected, but never appreciated, just how much I use the Housed OLY to control fine adjustments in pitch trim...being slightly negative, I had come to unconsiously use it as a trim weight, pitching down by holding it further forward, and pitching up by bringing it CLOSER to me...

AND, both Tom and Ary commented on what a monkey/football combo a housing is if not used to it...<g> I can only IMAGINE what the effect of a Video housing with twin HID's must be like...

Yup....that's it...There are two lines there. One goes around and comes back out on the mainline in the middle of the second break down room. The other goes back up into that little area that was in the video.

Thought so, I've done the line to the second breakdown but have yet to venture down the other line. I will have to give it a look one of these days. Just proves what has always been said about just how much there is to see in JB without the need to go very far in. 8)

Yep.

They're a lot of fun. The little "point and snap" cameras are pretty harmless in this regard (I have a little Sony in a "point and snap" housing too), but larger housings, and particularly video setups, are another matter.

The buoyancy of the rig and its trim needs to be spot-on if its not going to make for some very interesting trim issues.... :o

I like the way I've got the arms; one of the problems with a lot of commercial setups is that they pay zero attention to height! Some manufacturers have negative battery packs and positive lightheads, and they stick the battery under the housing and the lights above. This works ok in the ocean but in a cave the vertical profile can make it nearly impossible to manage cleanly.
