Well all I can say is for the money you pay, Yes they should be able to handle the enviroment and bumps and knocks of normal use and abuse that the cave diving enviroment would put them through. I do think that all company's should make them to handle the inviroment. I for one think that you should give credit to those it is due. But I am sure that a certain guy in Lake City is taking notes and has plans to make lights better I am sure it is not there in there daily plans to make stuff that they can't sell or is crappy to where no one wants it. But I realy do not know what the big deal is here when a certain guy worked for a company near by the lights was S#*t and now he is a cave diving light building GOD. But that is just my opinion and opinions are like butt holes everyone has one. But I have seen a Salvo Light get demolished with a demo test I mean bad demolished but I will not stir up that can of worms that is a bad can of worms. Lets just say there was nothing left of the light head.

Not to be condescending, but facts about a product are okay; opinions about a company are not.
Acceptable:
I got a regulator from ABC and it has performed well.
I have an XYZ light and it has been disappointing.
Unacceptable:
Everything ABC makes is great.
Everything XYZ makes is garbage.
If you got a light from Salvo and like it, people would like to know. If it has disappointed you, they would like to know that, too, but tell us why you didn't like it. However, Rule 6 prevents you from talking about Salvo (as a company) in general.

Well what it really boils down to is that if they could just make a Tech/Cave light as tough, invincible, and as indestructable as I am then I would buy it and tell all my friends.
Now if ya'll will excuse me I'm going to take my blood pressure medication, treat my heat rash, and crawl under my blankie for a little nighty night. :-D
I think I may have caught a chill.
