OK, I'll refrain from using the A word and just fall back to calling everyone jerks, since thats apparently perfectly acceptable.
That logic is really mind-boggling, but whatever.

Remember ya'll.... you'll catch more flies with honey than with....
So even if logic is on your side, you aren't going to convince as many people when you torque them off by ranting and raving and calling names. It doesn't make you look good and it really hurts your goals.

Bugman,
I don't want to see anyone get banned, but you really should think about what you are saying before you respond. There were a lot of different ways to make your point without implying that my buddy and I are irresponsible. (That's what triggered this whole mess to start with.) It is obvious that you care about the sport and your comment was initiated by a concern for safety. I have no problem with that and appreciate your concern. It seems to me that you have a lot to contribute to the community, but you loose credibility when you post things without thinking about how other people will interpret your remarks. If you don't care what others think, respect will be hard to gain.

From your OP, it seemed that you made a video on your first dive there. There was no indication that your buddy had been there previously and was doing all the videoing. IMO, filming with a handheld on your first visit to a site is irresponsible.
You corrected me with clarification on your OP, and I acknowledged that I had made a mistake.
If a bunch of people want to jump on me afterwards for giving a crap, fine. I have no respect for anyone who would like to make excuses for irresponsible behavior in the caves(which you apparently didn't do - kudos).
