Madison Blue???

Any word on conditions in the Crossunder Tunnel? Is it as tannic as main entrance -> Martz?

The crossunder tunnel is tannic. Martz is fine, but the water is below the last step.

Since when?

Saturday(2/18) the Crossunder Tunnel wasn't bad at all, and crystal clear past the first little drop to 80'ish.

Thanks a lot for replying. I'm hoping to persuade my wife to do the Crossunder if we make it to Florida over spring break and the system is still in good condition. This is encouraging.

Like Mr. Bug Guy (Mat) said, the Crossunder isn't too bad, just not clear like the back of the cave, or the Aquaduct tunnel. It will get very silty, after two divers go through it.

Jim Wyatt's report from yesterday seems to indicate otherwise. River is up, vis is down. If anyone makes it out there today, it will be interesting to see if the trend continues.

My report was from the 19th, things can change.

Sorry, did not mean to insinuate that your report was incorrect, rather that conitions had changed.
