ShagMan's "leaving the hobby" sale

For things like tanks I have found a great way get a "fair" price is to take them to a dive site (Ginnie would be a great choice) with lots of divers and set them out when you (or your friends) are rigging up or a hanging out.

Pick up a $1 For Sale sign and see what kind of response you get. Lots of Intro divers looking to upgrade or just other divers wanting a spare set would get chance to look at the goods.

I would be totally surprised if you couldn't' sell a lot of the gear at the upcoming Holiday weekend - note you might have to go back to town to complete the transaction (bank machine) or get to a lap top for paypal.

The 24w canister light is no longer for sale at the moment... my dive shop guy was late getting the canister to Dive Rite for repair, and there's no telling how long it'll be until it gets back.

Also, the hood is sold.

Josh, if you ever want me to parade around JB with your tanks, let me know. I'm guessing you could sell them online though. Even if its to someone further into Florida, its pretty common to have a train of people moving items along to a destination to skip out on shipping costs.

Stuff like tanks and scooters are constantly being dumped down the line to get somewhere else - LOL.

I'm figuring they'll eventually sell locally or to deliver to FL somewhere... at which case you're hop #1 bud!

I still have those 72's to donate to the cause, and you're getting my toolbox with all the misc stuff in it too.

I tried to sell the HP100's as singles with the pro/200 valves reinstalled ,so I could give you the Genisis valves on them, but somebody wanted the pro/200's with the AL80's, so I don't have any valves to go with the 72's other than some el crapo Sherwood yoke vales LOL.
