There was still one hanging around the run this afternoon. Here are a couple of not very good pics. The view underwater was great! I would estimate this one is about 5' long.
Wonderful shots! I've only ever seen a diver in those locations.

I was very upset by your post. That is a terrible thing to say about manatee's they are neither fish nor foul and drinking white wine with good red meat like that is just a sin.
They were around this weekend too (Saturday). Not near the run but out in the river. Our kayac'ing friends spotted them easily. :D
They were heading downriver from the Devils area at the time.

There was a big manatee ...about 6-7 feet eating the growth around the eye on Sunday afternoon. It scared the mess out of my student from Mass. who had only heard of manatees ....... He thought it was carnivorous!!!! Wished I had a picture of the look on his face. PRICELESS!
