6.0 Earthquake in the gulf

Actually a scientist from Nobleton reported that an alien spacecraft from the planet 'Venus' hit the Gulf waters at a high rate of speed, and NTI's {Non_Terrestial Intelligiance}are constructing a new city beneath the ocean floor, as we know it-! What we thought are aftershocks, are acually their powerfull underwater 'pile-drivers'-!

Hope it didn't split open that big oil deposit they reported locating in the Gulf about a week ago. You know I am waiting for that thing to drop gas prices to about 47 cents a gallon next year.......

I was diving Ginnie Spring's Devils System at that moment. When we surfaced my partner asked me "What was that weird rumbling sound?" I told him bubbles perculating through the rocks. Only found out later we dove during the earthquake!

I know nothing about earthquakes. But over in California, would it be possible for a faultline to pass through a body of water, like a lake or whatever and be cave divable?

I know it would be a bit risky. But it seems there could be some interesting sidemount opportunities. :smt018
