I was kidding. Not open for Memorial Day weekend to cavers nowadays, but some years back I dove ginnie first time ever on Memorial Day weekend, it was a terrible choice. Took about an hour and a half in line to get the ticket (end of the line was outside the main building), then I had to watch the stupid dive safety video, then driving around to find a parking spot. I eventually found a spot by turkey roost about 300 ft from the stairs. Which were packed with people with tubes, made carrying my stuff and gearing up almost impossible. And being asked the same questions over and over about how deep and how far and how dark and whether there are alligators or big fish inside with each trip down the stairs. All in one it took about 4 hours from arrival to getting under, all under a scorching sun and through grill smoke, at least the cave was more than worth it. But never again on a holiday :)
