There is no V-Planner version for the Palm. There is one for Windows CE(Mobile). Ross hasn't seemed to confident on a Palm version.

I use V-Planner on my desktop and if I am in a pinch I have PalmVPM and DPlan on my Treo 650. FWIW, HLPlanner looks pretty solid as well. Plus H-Planner is freeware. I have not used it to plan a dive.

I played with it a bit. I found it kind of clunky for my tastes. After it crashed about 5 times I wiped it. However, I am sure they have taken care of any instability problems. Looks like it was developed on a Mac and ported to Win32 (Code Warrior or something).

I have also spent far too many hours working on a DEAC as well ;)

Not that I am aware of...

I've been using GAP and I like the profiles, I feel good after the dives. It' upgradable to closed circuit CCR.

GAP LITE for palm, also nice

I use both GAP (the pay version) and decoplanner. GAP has a pain in the ass unlocking process, which I find frustrating, but other than that the new version works pretty well. It has come much closer to the decoplanner interface, where you can just cut and past each data field for quick changes in how your deco looks. Decoplanner is pretty easy to use, but I dont know about the purchasing process, and I dont have a current version.

I use V-planner and am happy with it.

But recently I found this program http://www.lizardland.co.uk/ XS for windows.

It is aimed at cave diving, as you can put your swim speed in and then layout the profile of the cave it then works out the rest.

I haven't really used it yet but thought I'd add it into the descussion
