It's not. It's a "Dominion" (self governing colony of the British Empire). Canada has no Constitution of it's own. Canadian law devolves from "Articles of Confederation" imposed on Canada by the British Parliament in 1867.

Poutine, for those of you who may be unfamiliar with this Quebec diner and truck stop delicacy, is french fries with cheese curd (kind of like soft mild cheddar) on top, and then brown gravy poured over the whole thing. The fries and the gravy need to be hot enough to melt the cheese. A heart attack on a plate! Yum!
