And I have heard that there is one crazy caver that has blue fins.....
I put bright green miflex hoses on my rebreather for my oxygen lines and bright blue miflex for the diluent lines. I am trying to find 3/4" pink webbing to cover the worm clamps on my rebreather can and bottles, maybe even some pink loop covers. That way no one would ever steal my rebreather, lol. Other than that, everything is black.
Don't be so sure of that...
The fire department I work at bought around 100 bright pink backboards under the assumption that none of the other departents would steal them. We are a predominantly male department...
The predominantly female county EMS service in the next county over activity seek out our backboards to steal simply because they are pink. So it basically strait up backfired on us.
Years ago when I was working on ski patrol there was a problem with skis being stolen from the racks by the lodge and patrol shack. So a bunch of us spray painted the tops of our skis with gray primer. They skied as well as ever, but nobody wanted to steal them.
Color choice is a pretty personal thing. Having to manufacture and stock different sizes would be bad enough, adding colors on top of that would be a PITA.
Lowest common denominator, black.
I work on the grounds that what ever colour you start with it will end up mud coloured.

Strapworx has a skull printed webbing I thought about using for a harness. Or maybe a Jalapeno pepper harness..
They do have some cool options. I would love to feel the webbing before buying though.

I am switching to a rebreather (a Titan to be exact). In the move I am also switching from the standard Tech Black to Red. So far I have the Titan cover coming in custom red, a red wing, and red webbing for my harness. Also having a friend make custom red loop covers for the rebreather. Been contemplating getting the stainless steel backplate powdercoated red and finding red fins... :diver
