My condolences to his friends and family and my respects to the team for the rescue attempt and recovery.
Just terrible. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this time.
This is so sad. Brendan was too young and too full of life. I enjoyed the times we dove together in Cozumel. Fond memories. RIP my friend.

So very sorry to hear of this great lost. Prayers and best wishes during the healing for those that are left behind.
I'm at a loss, Brendan was a pure joy to be around.
I remember hanging out with him in Southern Mexico for two weeks of mostly waiting while we dealt with caving permission issues. This kind of mountain politics was old hat to most of us there, but he got a quick introduction while we stayed busy with what we could not to go crazy. During his two weeks, I think he may have gotten the opportunity to get underground once, and all the while he showed the patience of a saint and was an absolute joy to be around in basecamp.
Brendan had yet to accomplish anywhere near what he was was bound to and I'll miss him in the basecamps and cave camps to come.
My condolences to family and friends. The team in Coz will also remain in my thoughts as they deal with such a terrible event. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

I have fond memories of Brendan on my first cave trip to Cozumel. He was just a super guy, the kind of person you would want your daughter to meet. One thing is for sure, he was taken from us way too early.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Brendan, I know you are looking down upon us now. Rest in Peace my friend.
I just met him Saturday, but he made a good impression on me. I was impressed with his knowledge. What a terrible loss.
Condolences to his mother, family and friends.

Always sad to lose a fellow cave diver, but especially so one that I knew personally. Namaste, Brendan.

My condolences to Brendan's family and team mates. I knew Brendan from the very start of his diving carrer.
