I just mailed some t-shirts out from the CDS Workshop and that's about right. I paid $8-9 for each set of 2 I shipped. 2 shirts weigh over a lb and USPS rates have gone up. If you buy 3 shirts, you'll get free shipping!

I've had occasion to ship a number of things recently, and I've been appalled at how much it costs. Granted, I'd rather businesses include the shipping in their price, rather than spring it on you at the end, but shipping really does cost a surprising amount. ($50 to overnight a can light to Florida from Seattle, as we learned today.)
