This is what I was thinking, but Half-Fast beat me to it.

Vortex? Lots of neat things to practice maneuvers in that are not caves.

How about Government Cut in Miami? Jupiter Inlet? Port Everglades? Lots of opportunities for directional control and evasive maneuvers.

Surely you can't be serious.
