Great to hear you enjoyed your trip down under Forrest. The Nullarbor has the best cave diving sites in the country IMO, and you get the Aussie outback experience thrown in for free :-)

Depends on your definition of a "hike". The caves near Mt Gambier have very short hikes, no worse than Little River. None like Devil's Eye, though. You will have to join the CDAA to get access. It is similar to getting access to Cow, but you need to apply in advance.
We dove in summer with a friend from the CDAA (the other one, not the one I have founded), Peter Buzacott. He said that it is no longer as difficult to dive the Australian caves, as it used to be before, that you had to take full cave with CDAA. I am glad this changed! It is in the list to do a trip there since we have a couple of people that we know in Australia..
Now hiking as in LR is not a problem... but the ladders, the ropes, this is what gets me out of my comfort zone! :?
It was great to have you here Forrest! I was pleased to look after you for a change. You have looked after me well in Florida since my first trip in 1982, which got me hooked on this game.
The skin on my fingers is slowly returning to normal after the Nullarbor. Even with gloves all the hauling of gear takes it's toll!
