Tragic news. I just dove with him 3 weeks ago. He just purchased a DPV and was excited to use it. My prayers go out to his wife.
I was shocked when I read this a couple of days ago...Buc was my regular dive buddy for the last couple of years prior to my departure from the area in January. We met doing an Optima course a few years ago and became regular dive buddies there after, making the trip over from Jax every few weekends. He was a genuine dude who always looked on the bright side of things and would walk up to anyone and strike up conversation.....
"I'm either driving, diving, or sleeping"--Funny, the things you remember about someone when something like this happens.
