Yeap, I think we are going to flatten a spot on the bottom to mount flat on the handle or we'll make a round recess on the handle for the light to sit in...

OK, here are the final looks for the prototypes... I'd like to know which one you guys think I should go with???
BTW, no matter which design it will have a bolt snap mounting groove on the back!
And Oh, don't worry about the red on pic 2, that's just dye to machine the part with so you can see what you are doing...
Just a note of thanks to Hector for expediting my light to get it before my trip next Wednesday. He went out of his way to get me my light in a timely fashion. BTW, it is built like a tank. Nice bright spot. I can't wait to see how it cuts in the water. At any rate it will be nice having my own canister for a change! :)

Unless the form serves a function I would go with the quickest one to machine. I don't think the flats and grooves are a deal breaker for anyone given how people have been raving about your lights.
I want mine to say Binford 6100.
