Does anybody have an older model DR Wreck canister for sale that they have lying around. I am looking for the ones with the gray lip (about 9 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" diameter). I do not need the cord, gland and switch (with boot) are nice and watertight...latches are a plus...

I can build for you for a small fee if you want. All you would need to tell me is what inside diameter you need and where you want the holes for the gland/switch. I can tap the glad hole with the proper threads, etc. The one shown is schedule 40 PVC, but I have changed to schedule 80 since it is thicker. Also, I use a flat gasket seal instead of an o-ring as I feel the larger surface area creates a better seal. I think the wreck canister is sched 80 PVC as well.
The can itself it's pretty affordable. The real cost is in the latches Salvo/DR ($25), the gland Agro ($13), switch and boot ($10).

What are the first two pictures?
What type of light head did you make? 3 LEDS?
What type of housing is that? Video camera?

I was wondering, you appear to dislike O-rings. Any particular reason?
The gasket loos like it would hold pressure both ways, in case of a flood, it could hold pressure in.
Are you on hiddivelights ?

I have a Wreck Cannister with 2 batteries, charger, the whole package. Wife decided she wanted a smaller light. It is in good shape. Low usage, but kept batteries charged. I'll take $250 for it.
