[Rained entire previous 24 hours] When arriving at the park, we were warned that two divers entered the previous day and exited after (only) 200ft of penetration. They complained of vis that was difficult to see each other's lights. I'm glad we didn't listen. Nothing ventured. Nothing gained. :smt102

Entered Martz Sink and swam to upstream side of Rocky Horror. Vis was hazy and about 20~30' for the first ~300'. After that it opened up to 80~100' vis. Exited at the spring (just as murky as Martz entrance); a decision well worth the effort of not climbing back up the Martz steps. Flow seemed typical as the last several months.

Despite the cold, rainy, and miserable above-ground conditions, it was an awesome dive.

When are you gettin' a dry suit man? That was hard core at JB on Sunday with those freezing temps.

When? I dunno... When I get the money, Full Cave, another camera setup, ect... Its honestly not all that high up on my list :)

The trick, is staying in the water. ;)

It was way worse on Saturday, atleast the Sun came out on Sunday.

Hey Marcy!

They were definitely opened for diving on Saturday but it was ugly and cold out. It rained off and on all day. We arrived, from our dive, at the spring with it raining. They were considering the closure of cave diving depending on our report. Since we came out with a good report, they probably left it open all weekend. This is why when folks dive it, they need to be specific and *accurate* on where, how far they went, and with what type of vis they encountered. It can mean the difference of diving or not for the rest that arrive afterwards.

Are you back in the water?

It was MUCH nicer in the cave than on the surface.

When we came up into the basin and I saw it was pouring down rain, I seriously just wanted to go back into the cave...

Richard, how come you didn't give a recap of our dive :D

I warned Richard that Rocky Horror was a little tight....
