Manatee Springs Question

I dived Manatee for the first time a couple of weeks ago and we entered via the large cavern at Catfish Hotel. I have noticed in the past that there is a smaller cave entrance more or less directly across the sink from the steps at about 20' depth. Question: Is this a viable entrance into the cave system, if one entered there where would you be relative to the mainline and is there any reason why one would use it? Thanks.

Its a sidemount entrance with two major restrictions to get into the cave. It comes into the main passage about 60 feet or so from the entrance. As you drop into the cave from the boulder at the entrance, look off to the right and its there.
