Contact info question
I recently moved back to Alaska, but a different part than before. There were beaucoup caves in the Southeast, but I don't know anyone here who does any cave work.
I currently live in Girdwood, with easy access to the Kenai Peninsula, Valdez, and all of the Anchorage/major road system.
Does anyone have any info or idea where to get it. I haven't looked for a local NSS group yet.
Any help would be appreciated

Your best bet will be to contact the local grotto, go to a meeting or trip if possible, get to know some folks.

I used to live in Wasilla, and the only caves I know of in that area are the mines up at Hatchers Pass Independance mine. You can search around, they have some abandoned mines that are not blocked off. Other than that, Ive only heard of caves being on the Aleutian Islands and the southeast islands. Hope that helps at all.
