30 watt Sealed Beam Light
This light was made by the original Bob Johnson in Jacksonville, 1975. This was my second light, the first is in pieces somewhere.

I broke the plexiglas battery canister in the Bahamas about '78, and made one from PC. Wrapped the bottom with kevlar and epoxy so it would not crack again if dropped. Taped over a band clamp that holds belt loop in place.

Notice the two switches? There is a light bub internal to the light head that we used when walking to the dive site, or at deco when having a lot of light seen from the surface was not a good thing. Could be used as backup if everything else died.

7.2 V wet cell ni-cad battery pack. You could charge the pack off your car battery if you were careful. Battery has potassium hydroxide as an electrolyte, not acid.
I dove this a few years ago with a different battery.
