I am totally shocked to hear about this. Mark was an awesome person. He did so much for diving thathe will never be forgotten. May he really rest in peace.
I took my Full Cave training from Mark back in the early 80's. In those days, Dive Rite was located at Mark's house in a metal building that was around 10x40 feet or so in size. It didn't take too long to outgrow that location and then the move to Lake City took place. I can remember going up to the present Dive Rite building with Mark and Lamar and laughing about the thousands of empty square footage they were going to have. Look at it today. Who would have thought. In addition to Dive Rite, we should remember Mark for all the work he did for the CDS during his time on the BOD. He was really one of the "good guys"Quote:
