Its an led. You can see the square emitter in the photo. Theyre nice little lights. Theyre just not super popular anymore because theres much stronger lights now. Still a very nice light and they seem more popular in mexico than here for aome reason (in my experience)

It is LED.
This one with 750 lumen output.
