Has anyone been to Buford recently with a condition report?
On another note re: Buford...
Can someone give me the link to get on the list of people allowed to dive there. Tried it a while back, would not activate.

You may have to do a one time registration with the fwc to be able to get a permit. A new permit is needed for each day of diving. You can do 2 consecutive days max under one permit.

I read on fb that you can see down to the ledge from the boardwalk. Sounds like the tanic water at the top is gone.Quote:

I walked out there earlier this evening to check things out. The water was clear and you could see the ledge, bottom of basin, and trees. It's nothing like it has been over the past several months. There are lots of shadows in the pictures but you can get the idea.
Glad to see it's clearing up, maybe I'll be able to head out there and dive soon!
Buford conditions are good, not the best I've seen it. but way better then what it has been looking like the past couple of months. Just did a nice 65 minute dive there today.
