Armadillo
I have an Armadillo SM rig for sale for 400$. It has less than 100 dives on it. I really like the simplicity of the build but the position of the doorhandles are a bit long for me. I am 5 8.
I am in Alachua Florida so can meet up with anyone in the area to try it on.

have you considered replacing the door handles? They're very simple to replace or move...

I have. The four or five inches are not going to fix the issue. It was really made for a taller person. I like the rig because it is simple and very durable, but I carry a fair bit of gear and need to be able to access the handles without contortion (especially given that the butt d-ring is not usable because it sits much too low).

I really like mine. I don't know if you are aware they make a smaller version. Also you can put d rings on the back. Just thread a short section of 2" webbing through with 2 drings and 3 belt slides and you have a convenient mounting place for spools, reels etc. If you need a pic let me know.

I have the short version with a dive rite tech plate. The original was way too long for me too and I'm 5'7

Thanks for the replies; and yes I had the choice for a smaller rig, but I opted not to go for it. My mistake; now before I commit to yet another rig I am going to move this one along. As I said, I think the rig is very nice; streamlined and simple. Just not the right size. I do have D-rings threaded in exactly the way you describe bamafan, but bottle removal and replacement is inconvenient, especially when trying to reach around in a small area.

Rig is sold. Thanks for inquiries
