I have a picture taken of me there on Feb 5th,2003. This was a dive that was conducted to assess the system before being reopened. So I would say it started in 2002,and completed 2003. Hope that helps. If you want more details PM me.

As much as we hate having losing 24 access (because we still have 7),the crime element was starting to get out of control. At that era there were cave divers who were reporting their cars getting broken into,and in fear of being sucked into a violent episode when they're there during the late hours.Quote:

In June 01 I found a pair of nike flip flops and have been using them since.
I don't have access to my dive log and the forum doesn't go back far enough to get exact dates.
Midnight decos in the cavern watching the ~honeymooners~ from UF doing their thing ! Turn on the floods{Primarys) & watch them freak out ...it was a gas !
I loved camping on site and diving right from camp. Had some fun times there before the walls and gates.
