stolen drysuit
To the person who took my Pinnacle Dry Suit bag from the changing room at dutch springs on sunday August 18th, between 4pm and 5:30 here is what i hope
I hope that you are really poor and have always wanted a state of the a state of the art drysuit and could not ever dream you could have one, I hope that you will wear this suit and each time you do, remember that I saved for years to afford the suit, the pockets, the new seals, and the pee valve. Enjoy it , because it will serve you well..but
This is a black, woman's medium, bare next gen. It has light monkey pockets and a pee valve.
you may keep my dirty underwear as i feel you have gone to great trouble that can be your reward. oh and the cell phone check it there is a message on it for YOU> :diver
If anyone is approached to buy this suit, i would appreciate it if you would, instead contact me...
thank you

I sincerely hope you retrieve your cherished dry suit...dive gear is very personal & hard enough to aquire yet alone have something you worked hard for taken from you.

This is very upsetting, argg :-( we were at Gilboa, Ohio this past wk-end, and one of the instructors lost his fins, and snorkel he left on a training platform. One diver went down to retrive it, and they were G-O-N-E...

Yes... You really have to watch your gear while in Mexico... Oh wait?! There are people who "suck" everywhere!
Have you checked with your home insurance agent. I had a guitar stolen while traveling and they replaced it, less the deductible.

Sorry to hear about your suit. I'd be pissed.
On a side note did you happen to see any female, world travelling, instructors asking people if they'd like to go on a guided dive while constantly looking over her shoulder?

HI every one, sorry i did not update sooner, I got my suit back from a friend who intervened and just told the thief it was stolen, and i gave him my po bx and i had it back the next day !!!! :) still going to follow up when the police have time. thank you all for your concern and good wishes.. love my dive community. <3

Glad to hear you got your suit back. If you had done nothing, your friend wouldn't have known to look for it, so it helps to "advertise".
-
It's great that you got your suit back!

If the cops can't or won't do anything you could always let a name slip (although not in a public forum, keep them from liability and all that PC crap).
....thieves need to be known to others who may be at risk of losing stuff to their sticky fingers.
Ostracism works wonders...
Glad you recovered your suit.
Dive safe,
Celia
