Which dive site?
Thanks for turning it in to the office. Will add to the large collection of lost keys. During the summer Lock Smiths are often on the property. It is a bad feeling to lose a key but I really feel bad on the rental cars due to the charges they charge to you. I had a young lady come up to me saying she lost a rental key in the river near Rose. She wanted me to look for it but I still had a couple of hours to work but it was turning dark. But I found a former cave diver who was there who went up the road and found it in about 5 minutes. I wanted to make sure who ever went looking for it was careful not to accidentally go into Rose. She had traveled to Fl to help out a former employer while her husband was in the service. I knew she did not have a lot of money so I was happy for the outcome. That was a happy outcome as river searches are never a sure thing.
The worst lost and found case was a girl from Iceland that lost her passport. (UF Student ) She had a flight two days later to go home that was non refundable. The nearest Embassy was in DC. The passport was never turned in as far as I know.
