My wife and I were cavern certified recently in march and would like to go up and dive some more.
We trained in Orange Grove, Peacock and Devil's. We would like to try some other sites. It would also be great if we can be at a place with a big basin so we could get some time in our drysuits for the same time.
Any suggestions within 3 hours north of Orlando?
Blue Springs Orange City less than an hour. Now with a Cavern Card you can take a light.
Thanks, that has been our default "need to get in the water now" dive even before cavern. We are planning on meeting some friends from Ga, so we are looking at further north to split the drive.Quote:

Catfish Hotel at Manatee - Not much of a cavern zone, but a nice spot to shake out your drysuit.
Little River - Not much of a place to shake out the drysuit, but decent cavern.
Buford Sink - Nice cavern, smallish basin, nice hike through swamp.
Paradise Sink - Decent cavern, platforms in the basin, easy access.
Blue Grotto - Commercial cavern, big basin area with platforms, easy access.
That should get you started... there are more, but I'll leave those for others to suggest.
