Excellent! Thanks Kelly.
There's goldline from Clearcut to Promise already, I'm guessing its still in good shape. I haven't been in it since earlier this year when we put it in.
I know there were steps being designed for ClearCut, are those still happenin or are we just jumping in(which I'm fine with)?
Glad Clearcut is finally open, I really think the restrictions there are pretty well unnecessary though. I'm scheduled to dive it on the 2nd.
Awesome... what's Clearcut? :)
Seriously though, can someone put together a description and picture and send it over to Walter?
that's awesome! it's a great dive when it's clear...which it is right now
It's an entry point into the longest underwater cave in the US (Leon/Wakulla). As an FYI, this is now the second site opened that the park owns in recent times.
Anyways, here's a map.

I'm fairly sure this is a photo just south of clearcut at a site that's not open to the public for entry, but I believe you can easily swim there from clear cut.

Here's the qualification procedure. Really all that you have to show is that you have experience and certifications in the depth range of this cave. Very reasonable, IMO.
