Okay, was I hallucinating or was there a lobster at the bottom of open water in Devil's Eye? If it wasn't a lobster it was the biggest crayfish (Head to Tail about 8") I've ever seen. Not a Florida Spiney, but one with claws.

saw one in the Ear about a week ago... probably 6" long... pretty cool.
Yes, you were hallucinating. Probably the result of loss of blood flow from a combination of having to mortgage your home to afford to dive at Ginnie, and swimming through clouds of beer infused redneck urine in the Devil's run. I saw one several years ago at The Elbow in Jackson Blue (p2,400') that was about 10" from tip of claw to end of tail. The only one I've ever seen more than about 100' in.Quote:
