New HOG regulator to help DeepAirMike's wife

I think most of you have read the thread started by DeepAirMike for his Mike Light auction to help with Sheri's non-profit school for at-risk children. If you have not bought a ticket, please do so even though it will reduce my chances:(

At the NSSCDS Workshop last month, I won a new in the box HOG regulator (1st and 2nd stage only - no hose) It looks like a D1 first stage (chrome colored with a red end) and the Hog 2nd stage (not the limited edition). I will try to post pictures later tonight.

I want to auction this regulator with all proceeds going to Sheri's school. The winning bidder can send Mike the money and then I will send the winning bidder the regulator.

It looks like you can buy the regulator new for 260+ so lets start the auction at 200. I will not get in the tax benefits but your winning bid may be tax deductible.

Post your bid on this thread. We'll cut it off at 6PM on July 28. Whoever is high bidder then has a new reg.

Really $400? Do you need a boyfriend Ms. Arrows? I'm currently available :) Although I'm not a Hog fan.. $425 here Sandy as it's for a fantastic cause.

Haha I'm just trying to help out : ) Figured I'd start it out high so we don't waste any time. Sandy was nice enough to donate something he could have sold for almost three hundred bucks... I'm just trying to help out a fellow diver. I'd like to think if I were in a bad situation Mike (who I don't know by the way) would do the same for me.

Mike and Sheri are awesome people. If I was in a corner I would want them on my side.

You guys are great. Whether you are high or low bidder, I hope I can buy both of you lunch one day.

BTW, postage is on me.

When I first started cave diving I posted on the forum asking if anyone had any gear laying around they did not need to let me know and I would gladly PURCHASE it from them. Not more than a day or so Mike was asking for my address. he mailed me a wing, harness, backplate, and reel. Along with a cave diving dvd. he asked for nothing more than someday I repay the favor( I have since given that same equipment to a college kid jusr starting out). He is just that kind of guy I guess. I only wish I had some gear i could auction off for the same cause. I will dig thru the shed tomarow. If anyone is going down to mexico soon maybe I can take leave and provide armed security..

Aww what a great guy.... I could bedazzle a jump spool and auction it, but since 99% of cave divers are lame, I don't think a famous Pink Arrows Bedazzled Spool would really help much : P
